Alpha Courses
This course was designed to give people a chance to think about and learn about the Christian faith. It started in the U.K. and is now worldwide. It gives people who are not Christian and who are interested, an opportunity to consider what becoming a Christian involves. However it is very popular with people who want to look again at their beliefs - to understand them better. A course will be run in 2010. If you are interested contace Fr Joe Coyne or one of the neighbouring parishes.

A small group of people meet at 8p.m. every Wednesday in the Presbytery in Blakestown for a period of Meditation (Following John Main's Normal 0 false false false EN-IE X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 manner).

www.iec2012.ie
A unique opportunity to be involved in next year's Eucharistic Congress 10th-17th June. It's the chance of a lifetime to contribute to making the congress a success. All sorts of services are required even now at the planning stage. Take a leaflet from the porch with more information.
Year for Priests
Pope Benedict has declared a 'Year for Priests' beginning on the 19th June. Your prayers are requested for priests and for vocations to the priesthood. The year marks the 150th anniversary of the death of St John Vianney, who will be declared patron saint of all priests during this year.

The Parish team would like to thank Fr Tony Heerey for all the hard work he has put into our parish over the past nearly two years, and wish him all the best in the future.
We would also like to thank Fr Eugene Taaffe, former Parish Priest of Mulhuddart, who was Administrator of Hartstown Parish for a while. We wish Fr Eugene good luck in the future.
