Message from Fr Joe Coyne
I am gradually settling into Hartstown Parish-having arrived in early September. I appreciate the welcome and kindness shown to me. After three months I am beginning to recognise the great potential in the community and hope as time goes by that more people will be able to contribute to the building up of God's family. Involvement in Parish Work necessitates an awareness of the need for special care of children and already Child Protection Training is proceeding here in St.Ciaran's.
The school play is a central role in the life of the Community. As I am getting to know the teachers in St.Ciaran's, I can see how important a good school is in the parish. The 1st Communications have had their enrolement ceremony. This was arranged by the parents with the help of Clinton Maher, the new Pastoral Worker. The school made it all very easy.
Thanks to you and to our non resident parishioners who have been faithful friends of Hartstown.
