The Sacraments

In our journey of life we are supported with The Sacraments. Sacraments are the touch of God. When Jesus touched people and when they touched Him, there was a renewal of life, a vitalising, an encouragement with abundant blessing. Sacraments are the 'moments of celebration'. We stop, stare and reflect. Small Sacraments are happening all the time - we stop to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, a success, an exam, winning a medal, leaving a job or place, beginning a new venture.

Big Sacraments or Special Sacraments are a new baby arrival with the welcome of Baptism, growing in love, with the joy of Communion and Mass - growing into teens, with the strength of Confirmation. A parish helps people celebrate their lives with the Sacraments.
