Peregrine Laziosi- Born in Forli, Italy- 1265

There was conflict between the Pope and the Emperor in Rome Philip Benizi a Servite  was asked to mediate and was punched in the face and drove out of town. Among the ringleaders was the young Peregrine Laziosi, who felt so bad about his part in the incident that he could not rest until he sought out Philip and asked for his forgivness.
